Jennifer Aniston pide ignorar a Kanye West y votar por Joe Biden

Jennifer Aniston, dio a conocer en su cuenta de Instagram que había votado por el candidato demócrata Joe Biden para las elecciones de presidenciales de Estados Unidos, pero la actriz, conocida por su papel protagónico en la serie “Friends” dejo ver que está en desacuerdo con el perfil que está asumiendo cantante Kanye West, llamó a sus fans a ser responsables y no votar por él.

A través de su cuenta de Instagram la actriz estadounidense dio cuenta de cómo es que ejerció su voto, además que explicó por qué apoyó a Biden y a Kamala Harris, luego que “este país está más dividido que nunca” ante el ejercicio que ha tenido el presidente Donald Trump.

#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early 👏🏼 I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. La actriz aprovechó su publicación para dar cuenta de cómo es que algunas autoridades deciden lo que las mujeres pueden o no hacer con sus propios cuerpos, esto en el marco en que EU y Brasil firmaron un pacto contra el aborto.

Lamentó que el gobierno de Donald Trump ha realizado ciertas declaraciones o minimizado problemas, como ignorando el racismo y la ciencia, esto en medio de la pandemia de COVID-19,enfermedad que ha cobrado la vida de más de 225 mil personas en la nación de las barras y las estrellas.

“Todo esto no se trata de un candidato o de un solo tema, se trata del futuro de este país y del mundo. Voté por la igualdad de derechos humanos, el amor y la decencia”, afirmó la actriz.

“No es divertido votar por Kanye. No sé de qué otra manera decirlo. Por favor sea responsable”, escribió.

I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough. ⠀ ⠀ I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this 🥰 BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe. People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives.
